Description
This intensive one day class will cover:
- How to make a creamy Italian meringue buttercream
- How to flavour your buttercream to make it irresistible
- Making consistent smooth sugarpaste domes
- Using food colours to paint delicate flower designs
- Modern art-based style techniques
- Creating calligraphy and chalk board style details
You’ll leave with 6 boxed sugarpaste domed cupcakes, and we’ll provide the cupcakes ready made so there will be no baking in this course. We’ll provide all equipment including brushes and aprons. We do recommend bringing a pad and pen/pencil to write down any notes you’d like.
Tea, coffee, juice and water will be provided but we do not offer lunch. We recommend bringing your own (you’re more than welcome to heat up food) or buying something local. There are supermarkets and fast food places round the corner from our studio
